MDX components

In an .mdx post, Zeku knows the components in your project’s src/components folder and the props each one takes.

Insert a component

• Type / at the start of a line and pick a component from the menu. Zeku inserts it and adds its import line if the post doesn’t have one.
• Press Ctrl+/, or right-click and choose Insert component, to open the component builder. It lists the component’s props with a field for each, and inserts the finished tag.

Edit a component

A component in the post shows as a chip rather than as raw JSX, so the text around it stays readable. Click the chip to open it in the component builder. Alt-click it to see and edit the source instead.

The import lines at the top of the post collapse into a single strip. Zeku marks a component that has no import, an import nothing uses, and a component it can’t find in your project.

Components are available only in .mdx files. A collection’s loader decides whether it accepts .mdx; see How Zeku reads your site.
