The trial

Every copy of Zeku starts a 14-day free trial with every feature. During the last three days, a countdown shows in the title bar.

After the trial, nothing locks. Zeku keeps working, with a small reminder to buy a license at most once a day, never while you’re typing and never over a dialog. A license removes the reminder and supports development.

Buy and activate a license

Licenses are a one-time purchase with free updates for life. See zeku.dev/pricing for the current price and the agency license.

  1. Buy a license at zeku.dev/pricing. The key arrives by email.
  2. In Zeku, open Settings > License and paste the key.
  3. Click Activate.

One license covers Zeku on Windows, macOS, and Linux, on up to three computers.

Computers

Section titled “Computers”

Settings > License lists the computers using your license, by name. To move the license to a new computer when the old one is gone or retired, remove the old one from the list, from any computer on the license. If you reach the limit while activating, Zeku offers to remove one right there.

An activated license works offline for good. Zeku checks in with the license server about once a week to pick up changes, such as a computer removed from the list, and nothing stops working if it can’t.
